THOR Solutions is actively seeking a junior-to-mid level NMCI/NET System Administrator to support NMCI hardware and software asset management activities at the Naval Undersea Warfare Center (NUWC) Division Newport, located in Middletown, RI.
Typical Physical Activity: Desk/computer work in an office environment. May involve: repetitive motion. May also require physical activity including lifting/moving computer & server hardware assets, setting up workstations, laying network cable, and supporting other IT infrastructure activities. Typical Pay Range:The anticipated pay for this position in the identified location(s) is $36.06/hour. Actual compensation offered will be based upon individual factors including education, qualifications, and experience. This position is covered under the Service Contract Act (SCA), and will additionally receive $4.93/hour in "health and welfare" benefits. Existing SECRET Security Clearance Required: This position requires an existing active or interim Secret security clearance prior to hire. Only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance; therefore, only current U.S. citizens will be considered for this position. A candidate without a clearance but with highly relevant experience may be considered, but a clearance must still be obtained prior to hire. Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
