Part-Time | Licensed Practical Nurse

Schedule:

Position includes part-time night shift with rotating holidays.

Available Shifts:

  1. 6:30P - 7:00A | 36 hours per two-week pay period

*Same Day Pay Available*

Education Required:

  1. Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in good standing in the State of Ohio
  2. Current CPR certification
  3. Completion of Ohio requirements for medication administration

The Difference You'll Make

  1. Provide direct nursing care to residents in accordance with individualized care plans and physician orders
  2. Safely administer medications and treatments while monitoring resident response and effectiveness
  3. Complete accurate and timely documentation using electronic health record systems
  4. Assess and communicate changes in resident condition to the Nurse Manager, providers, and family members, and assist with appropriate follow-up care
  5. Coordinate, oversee, and provide guidance to State Tested Nursing Assistants (STNAs)
  6. Ensure compliance with clinical policies, procedures, and state and federal regulations
  7. Promote a respectful, compassionate, and person-centered care environment
  8. Demonstrate professionalism, teamwork, and strong customer service in daily practice

Qualifications:

Education Required:

  1. Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in good standing in the State of Ohio
  2. Current CPR certification
  3. Completion of Ohio requirements for medication administration

Preferred:

  1. IV certification

Experience Preferred:

  1. Previous experience in long-term care, skilled nursing, or senior living settings

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  1. Working knowledge of Ohio state rules and healthcare regulations
  2. Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
  3. Ability to supervise and collaborate effectively with STNAs and care team members
  4. Ability to maintain regular attendance and professional work standards
  5. Ability to comply with all federal, state, and local health regulations, including required post-offer screenings
  6. Ability to perform the essential functions of the position with or without reasonable accommodation
