Position : Laser Operator Location : Hartford, WI Shift: 1 st Shift, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM M-F Pay Range : $23-$27 / Hour Responsibilities: Provide a great level of attention to detail and focus on the given task and follow blueprints to meet product specifications Understanding and the use of a caliper, micrometer, tape measure (digital or dial) Cut parts to print and pull size and correct material as requested on Travelers Log Set up laser machine based on material type and thickness, load programs and set machine parameters to ensure optimal performance of the equipment Lift raw materials and final products manually, or using hoist Remove slag build-up from the slats of flatbed laser equipment Maintenance of Optical glass for precision cutting of various metals. Ensure parts of the correct quality and quantity emerge from the laser cutting system and are routed to the correct location on shop floor Account for time and work completed via online computer data collection system Safely operate a forklift to handle materials and complete work Qualifications: 2 + years of experience on Trumpf, BLM Group Adige Laser Tube Fiber or similar CNC laser cutting equipment (TruDisk/TruFlow preferred) Ability to distinguish material types including Aluminum, Steel, Stainless Steel, Cooper and Brass Work with team members to maximize productivity and efficiency Good work ethic Must be able to understand and read written instructions and or directions in work related documents Ability to read blueprints and other documents Knowledge of simple operations in windows based computer environment; preferred in JobBoss Ability to handle physical workload Experience working with Trumpft equipment preferred
