Compensation

Annual Salary Range $180,000.00 - $220,000.00 USD based on experience.

Job Summary

The Director of Talent Management is responsible for the organization's talent management function, including organizational development, performance management, change management, workforce planning, succession planning and onboarding. This position will work to align talent initiatives with business objectives and implement best people practices across all Colas subsidiaries.

Main Responsibilities

* Leads as the subject matter expert for Colas USA implementing Bouygues and Colas SA Talent strategies as well as, training and coaching leaders across unique functions on how to identify, promote, and develop high-performing employees
* Develops and implements talent management strategies, initiatives, and programs that support the recruitment, development, and retention of high-performing employees
* Creates and maintains a comprehensive talent management framework including performance management, employee development, succession planning, and career pathways
* Oversees the design and implementation of performance management processes, including goal-setting, performance evaluations, and feedback mechanisms
* Plans, implements, and manages Colas USA's annual performance management process
* Acts as the process and functional owner for the performance management system
* Develops and implements employee engagement strategies to foster a positive work environment and enhance employee satisfaction and retention
* Collaborates with leaders and managers to identify high-potential employees and create development plans to accelerate their growth and advance their careers
* Designs and implements diversity and inclusion initiatives to foster a diverse workforce and promote an inclusive culture
* Stays abreast of industry trends and best practices in talent management, and make recommendations for continuous improvement to drive organizational performance.
* Partners with senior leadership to align talent management strategies with business objectives and drive organizational change and transformation
* Creates employee engagement and retention plans that promote the overall Colas culture of caring, sharing, and daring
* Measures and drives results by leveraging metrics and reporting to enable top performance from the team, particularly concerning Performance, Talent, and Turnover data
* Partners with colleagues to contribute to the wider HR team through proactive sharing of information and best practice

Skills

* 10+ years of experience in Human Resources, with at least 5 years of management experience
* Prior experience in a Talent Management role is a plus
* Demonstrated track record of promoting partnership by fostering a shared purpose and building trust across teams, businesses, functions
* Strong leadership abilities with the ability to inspire and motivate others to achieve results
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization
* Strategic thinker with the ability to design and implement talent management initiatives that align with organizational goals
* Demonstrated experience in talent development and retention strategies
* Solid understanding of HR practices and employment laws
* Must have working knowledge of HRIS systems.
* Excellent verbal and written communications with an ability to transform operational information into engaging and powerful content
* Demonstrated ability to coach or mentor others
* Proficient in Microsoft Office specifically Word, PowerPoint, and Excel

Education

* Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred but not required
* Valid Drivers' License and ability to maintain a clean driving record
