What You'll Do:

The Soils Laboratory Technician will be responsible for supporting the Soils laboratory by following methodologies and preparing samples




  • Prepare samples for a wide variety of testing procedures, following outlined methodologies and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
  • Operate and maintain scientific equipment/instrumentation
  • Document activities and report results accurately and concisely
  • Assist group leaders and analysists in ordering and inventorying consumables, chemicals, and parts for instrumentation
  • Ensure cleanliness and proper maintenance of laboratory equipment and work areas
  • Model our core value of safety by enabling a culture in which you are actively contributing to a safe work environment
  • Other duties as required

What You'll Bring:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 1-3 years of previous experience working in an environmental laboratory is preferred
