The Department of Medicine is seeking an infectious disease specialist in the Academic Clinical emphasis track to join the faculty of the Division of Infectious Diseases and International Medicine (IDIM) at the University of Minnesota. The clinical duties for this position will involve both inpatient and outpatient clinical care at the University of Minnesota Medical Center-Fairview.These clinical duties include staffing the inpatient Hematopoietic Stem Cell Transplantation (HSCT) and Solid Organ Transplant (SOT) Infectious Diseases consult services and seeing outpatients referred to the Transplant Infectious Diseases clinic. Other duties may involve staffing the inpatient general infectious disease consult service including telemedicine, and staffing the antibiotic management team services. Educational responsibilities will include teaching students and residents who rotate on the infectious diseases consult service and may include staffing the infectious diseases fellows' clinic. There is also the opportunity to establish and/or collaborate on clinical research studies in an intellectually exciting environment. Required Qualifications: Pay and Benefits: This role is dually employed by University of Minnesota Physicians and the University of Minnesota. Total salary is market competitive and based on AAMC salary benchmarks. Clinical salary, aligned with clinical effort, is provided through M Physicians. The base salary range for this position is $170,000 -$205,000 commensurate with experience, qualifications, and cFTE.
