Bridge Inspection opportunity in the Transportation Division of our Pennsylvania offices. You can be based in Pittsburgh, Harrisburg or Douglasville, PA. Sign on and relocation bonus available. This position offers a great career opportunity Inspectors with bi-annual and NBIS bridge inspection experience to be involved with bridge and culvert projects in all stages. This position will lead a team to inspect and identify needed maintenance and improvements, prepare reports and load ratings, assist in developing repair and rehabilitation strategies, and work with owner and contractor to preserve or replace the structure. This is a great role to become a subject matter expert in our growing inspection team and take on more leadership responsibilities. The successful candidate will be an experienced professional with a full understanding of bridge inspection/engineering industry practices and have a strong capability of solving a wide range of bridge engineering design, analysis, and inspection challenges. This opportunity entails being responsible for the production and modification of design calculations, technical reports, leading bridge inspection teams, engineering plans and specifications for assigned projects. In this role, the team leader will coordinate with equipment suppliers and other agencies to facilitate bridge inspections. The candidate will be responsible for high-quality project delivery for complex and non-complex bridge and culvert projects including replacements, rehabilitations, and preservations.
