What You'll Do

SourceAmerica is seeking Compliance Program Manager to join the AbilityOne team. This role will provides a disciplined approach to monitoring and assisting Nonprofit Agencies (NPAs) and SourceAmerica to maintain AbilityOne Program compliance. This position aims to improve compliance practices related to SourceAmerica's role as a Central Nonprofit Agency (CNA), focusing on strengthening processes, controls, and documentation for consistency and sustainability. Supports long-term effectiveness, sustainability, and relevance of AbilityOne Program compliance activities, including inspections, assessments, NPA qualifications, oversight, corrective actions, technical assistance, and capacity-building. This position assesses current and emerging requirements, systems, and processes to ensure alignment with the Cooperative Agreement, Code of Federal Regulations (CFR), and U.S. AbilityOne policies. Supports process improvements using quality management, automation, and tools like Smartsheet, Microsoft Dynamics, and Power BI to streamline compliance and enhance data integrity, transparency, and reliability.

How You Will Spend Your Day ...

  • Lead and support compliance oversight activities for the AbilityOne Program, including NPA qualifications, assessments, monitoring, and corrective actions.
  • Apply professional judgment to evaluate compliance risks, trends, and recurring issues; recommend and support process and control improvements.
  • Manage assigned NPA Corrective Actions, including review, documentation, followup, and resolution tracking.
  • Support the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of compliance processes, systems, and workflows, including Smartsheet solutions and Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365).
  • Develop, maintain, and standardize internal and external compliance documentation, including procedures, guidance, and reference materials.
  • Document Control: Manage the controlled document system, ensuring timely review, revision, version control, and standardization of compliance documents in accordance with established expiration timelines and governance requirements.
  • Review compliance data and documentation to ensure accuracy, consistency, and audit readiness.
  • Provide technical clarification and guidance to NPAs and internal stakeholders regarding AbilityOne compliance requirements.
  • Collaborate with Business Intelligence (BI), Information Technology (IT), and internal compliance partners to support system enhancements, documentation, and process alignment. Stays updated on new technologies relevant to compliance and operational efficiency.
  • Audit Support: Assist with preparation for and participation in internal and external International Organization for Standardization (ISO) audits, including documentation review, evidence preparation, and response support.
  • Perform other duties as assigned and travel as required based on business needs.

Salary Range

The salary for this position falls in a range between $105,000 - $115,000 depending on your experience and geographic location in the United States.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Compliance, Public Administration, Project Management.
  • At least 5+ years of experience in compliance, regulatory oversight, quality management, audit support, or a related program management function.Working knowledge of regulatory and policy frameworks, with the ability to interpret requirements and apply them to operational processes and documentation.
  • Experience managing corrective actions, compliance reviews, documentation control, and process improvement initiatives.
  • Experience preparing for audits, assessments, or monitoring activities, including maintaining accurate and audit-ready records.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, with experience using systems or tools such as Smartsheet, Microsoft Dynamics 365, Power BI, or similar platforms.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to provide clear guidance, document findings, and collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities with a high degree of accuracy and accountability.

Preferred Qualifications ...

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification preferred.
  • Familiarity with Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) safety guidance, the Drug-Free Workplace Act, and Contractor Code of Business Ethics and Conduct preferred.
  • Demonstrated understanding of audit principles, concepts, and practices related to statutory and regulatory requirements.
  • Extensive knowledge of Federal regulatory and quality systems is preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and organizational skills, with the ability to build effective working relationships across stakeholders.

Work Environment

Our organization offers both a hybrid work model-where employees work in our office two to three days per week and work from home the balance of the workweek-as well as a fully remote work model, depending on the job requirements..
