About the Role

At BCD Meetings & Events, you'll be the go-to person for small meetings, bringing the client's brand to life with vendors, stakeholders, and attendees. You'll manage multiple programs from kickoff to wrap-up, handling everything from sourcing venues and hotels to registration, webinars, and attendee experience. This role is a great fit for someone who loves details, stays calm under pressure, and knows how to keep lots of moving parts on track. You'll work in office Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday at Align's Raleigh office, operate in the EST time zone, and enjoy a no-travel setup.

You're Good At

• Partnering with clients, teammates, and service providers to understand goals and turn them into well-executed meetings and events
• Managing planning timelines, budgets, invoices, and vendor payments while keeping programs compliant and on track
• Sourcing venues, negotiating contracts, and coordinating food and beverage, audiovisual, room setup, hotel accommodations, transportation, off-site dinners, teambuilding, and giveaways
• Creating registration links, supporting Zoom webinars, and making sure every attendee touchpoint feels smooth and positive
• Handling multiple priorities, troubleshooting issues quickly, and working confidently in Microsoft Office Suite, Asana, Salesforce, Canva, and Smartsheet

You Might Also Have

• 1-3 years of experience in a similar role
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to coordinate multiple resources
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• The ability to work well under time pressure and changing deadlines
• A collaborative approach and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service

Travel requirements for this role are as follows:Less than 25%

We carefully consider a wide range of compensation factors, including your professional background and experience. The salary range for candidates in applicable jurisdictions in the US for the position of Small Meeting Manager (Raleigh, NC) is between $55,000 - $65,000. The actual pay depends on your skills, qualifications, experience, geographical location, and project budget.
