MaineHealth is seeking a full-time Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Ambulatory, Neurology Oncology Team. This specialized team provides compassionate, expert care for patients with primary brain tumors and central nervous system (CNS) malignancies, including glioblastomas, astrocytomas, oligodendrogliomas, CNS lymphomas, meningiomas, metastatic brain disease, spinal tumors, neurofibromatosis-related tumors, and other complex neuro-oncology conditions. The Triage RN plays a vital role in coordinating and managing patient care throughout the treatment journey. In this position, you will collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team that includes Medical Assistants (MAs), Clinical Team Assistants (CTAs), Advanced Practice Providers (APPs), attending physicians, IV Therapy staff, authorization specialists, NorDx laboratory personnel, and other healthcare professionals. Together, we work to provide timely triage, seamless care coordination, and exceptional patient-centered oncology care. While experience in both oncology and triage nursing is strongly preferred, we welcome candidates with triage experience from other specialties who are eager to learn and grow within neuro-oncology. Beyond clinical experience, we value individuals who bring a positive attitude, adaptability, strong communication skills, and a collaborative approach to patient care. Our team is committed to delivering outstanding care in a dynamic and evolving environment. As our practice continues to refine workflows and optimize processes, we are looking for someone who is resilient, flexible, and comfortable navigating change. The ideal candidate will embrace continuous improvement, contribute to a supportive team culture, and help drive the practice forward as we continue to grow. Position Details
