  • Ability to read and interpret simple instructions, correspondence, and memos
  • Ability to write basic correspondence
  • Ability to communicate effectively in one-on-one and small group settings
  • Basic math skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, fractions, decimals, ratios, and percentages
  • Ability to create and interpret basic charts and spreadsheets
  • Proficiency with basic office equipment and personal computers
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, especially Microsoft Excel (required), Word, and Access
  • Ability to apply common-sense understanding to follow instructions in written, oral, or diagram form
  • Ability to solve problems involving multiple variables in standardized situations
  • Associate's degree (A.A.) or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school
  • Three years of senior-level clerical experience
  • Two years of experience in claims, safety, OSHA, or risk management
  • Equivalent combination of education and relevant experience acceptable


Here's how you'll make an impact every day:



  • Reviews video footage and recorded images from transit terminals, company facilities, and buses in response to customer complaints, accidents, and administrative requests
  • Ensures complaints, accidents, and incidents are properly reviewed, downloaded, and stored according to established procedures and department requests
  • Oversees and coordinates work independently, reporting progress and major developments to management
  • Recovers, administers, and maintains video evidence including accountability, accuracy, storage, and retrieval of recordings
  • Investigates accident claims by identifying employees and vehicles, scheduling downloads, and reviewing/archiving video footage
  • Coordinates with Operations, Maintenance, and IT departments during investigations and video retrieval processes
  • Reviews requests for digital video evidence and distributes copies to authorized personnel in accordance with policy
  • Maintains detailed logs of all downloaded recordings, including event dates, request dates, download dates, and distribution records
  • Deletes or destroys video records in accordance with agency retention policies and ensures proper storage management
  • Answers and screens incoming phone calls; schedules appointments; maintains confidential files
  • Maintains claim-related data files and reporting logs (Access databases, workers' compensation, OSHA logs, First Aid logs, etc.)
  • Archives documents and assists with records management
  • Provides reception coverage and assists with department mail processing
  • Coordinates department projects as assigned
  • Performs other duties as assigned
