Inside the Role

The IT Infrastructure Manager is a critical leadership role responsible for overseeing and managing the IT infrastructure across multiple Truck Manufacturing locations within the NAFTA region (Network, Datacenter, Workplace services). Reporting directly to the Head of Infrastructure NAFTA, this position requires a deep understanding of networks, data centers, service management, and IT operations. The IT Infrastructure Manager will play a key role in developing and implementing IT strategies that align with the company's goals and objectives. Additionally, this role emphasizes the importance of effective stakeholder management at all levels, ensuring seamless collaboration and communication with internal teams and external suppliers.

Position offers a starting salary range of$144,000.00 - $184,000.00 USD

Pay offered dependent on knowledge, skills, andexperience

What You Drive at DTNA

  • Develop and implement IT infrastructure strategies aligned with the company's goals and objectives for 7 Manufacturing locations across US and Mexico.
  • Ensure the right management of network infrastructure, including LAN, WAN, and wireless networks through outsource suppliers.
  • Oversee data center/server rooms operations, ensuring high availability and performance of critical systems.
  • Owns end user service support and experience (~10k users) and act as a liaison across cross functional teams i.e. IAM, Network, DC.
  • Implement and manage service management processes, including incident management, problem management, and change management.
  • Lead IT operations, including system administration, monitoring, and maintenance.
  • Manage relationships with external suppliers and vendors, ensuring service level agreements are met and developing a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Ensure compliance with Global DTAG standards and regulations related to IT infrastructure.
  • Act as the first point of contact for any IT related demand, making sure to connect the relevant teams (Cross collaboration)
  • Ensure that Cybersecurity policies are followed and works in partnership with the CISO and BISO organizations making sure that all IT solutions comply with standards.
  • Develop and manage the IT infrastructure budget, including forecasting and cost management.
  • Provide leadership and mentorship to the IT infrastructure team.
  • Foster strong stakeholder management at all levels, ensuring effective communication and collaboration with internal teams and external partners.

Knowledge You Should Bring:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. and 10+ years of experience in IT infrastructure management, is required.
  • At least 5 years in a managerial/leadership role.
  • Must have experience working in Manufacturing Operations with 24/7 support models for 7 years.
  • Proven experience in managing networks, data centers, and IT operations.
  • Strong knowledge of service management principles and practices (ITIL).
  • Experience in managing external suppliers and vendors.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience in Continuous improvement (Kaizen, Lean, Six Sigma, TQM).
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and hands on.
  • An attached resume is required.

Exceptional Candidates Might Have

  • Master's degree preferred.

  • Spanish speaking proficiency is a plus.
