Overview
Microsoft Cloud Operations and Innovation (CO&I) is the team behind the cloud. Within CO&I, the Datacenter Engineering (DCE) teamis responsible fordelivering core datacenter infrastructure for Microsoft's cloud business. The MS portfolio consists of complex, multi-disciplinary, large scale, multi-year datacenter construction and lease projects. We are looking for a passionate, high-energy individual to help buildthe clouddatacenters that power the world's largest online services. TheGlobal Datacenter Engineering Lease Electrical Directorwill manage the coordination of electrical/EPMS(Electrical Power Monitoring System)infrastructure requirements with internal stakeholders to support leased datacenter capacity and documentation processes. They will ensure alignment of electrical and EPMS infrastructure with Microsoft's global datacenter requirements, collaborating with internal teams and external vendors specializing in datacenter architecture to deliver solutions. This role also involvesfacilitatingthe development of Microsoft's datacenter lease standards, providing direction to the Global Lease Electrical SMEs, and overseeing multiple projects and process improvements. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $188,000.00 - $304,200.00 per year. Certain roles may be eligible for benefits and other compensation.
