The Division of Budget and Capital Program Management (BCPM) is seeking a qualified candidate to serve as Administrative Liaison for a variety of duties supporting the three closely related divisions of BCPM, Grants and Fiscal Management (GFM), and Audit. The Administrative Liaison will report directly to the Director of Administration in BCPM. Responsibilities will be a variety of fiscal, administrative, and personnel tasks necessary to support a fast-paced, dynamic professional workforce. Personnel-related duties may include performing personnel functions using the NYCAPS system, assisting the Director in personnel management activities such as processing Personnel paperwork and working out the best title/recruitments steps, maintaining positions/vacancies schedules, tracking and reporting on personnel actions, coordinating ongoing employee recruitment process and attending civil service list calls and division interviews, as needed. The chosen candidate will assist employees with CityTime and payroll issues, creating, updating, and maintaining tracking spreadsheets and organizational charts. Assist with scheduling professional training and perform other related administrative duties. Additionally, the Administrative Liaison may perform Fiscal officer duties for BCPM and GFM divisions, such as purchasing supplies and materials needed for staff, preparation of budget mods, requisition and receiving report preparation, working with various division staff to assist in the administrative aspect of processing the Engineering Service Agreement (ESA) tasks. Minimum Qualifications 1. A baccalaureate degree from an accredited college and three years of satisfactory full-time progressively responsible clerical/administrative experience, one year of which must have been in an administrative capacity or supervising staff performing clerical/administrative work of more than moderate difficulty; or 55a Program This position is also open to qualified persons with a disability who are eligible for the 55-a Program.
