Flint Hills Resources is seeking a Senior Administrative Assistant in Euless, TX or Corpus Christi, TX to provide onsite administrative support for office personnel and terminal/site operations. This role will help ensure daily administrative needs are handled with strong service, follow-through, and attention to detail. The Senior Administrative Assistant will coordinate meetings and events, support carrier-related activities, and partner with internal stakeholders and external partners to help keep operations running smoothly.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys supporting both office and field/site teams, takes ownership of daily administrative processes, and is interested in finding ways to improve how work gets done. This may include simplifying workflows, improving consistency, and leveraging automation or AI-enabled tools to increase efficiency.

Our Team

You will support leaders and teams who work across both office and field/site environments. This role will coordinate with internal stakeholders and external partners, including carriers and drivers, to help ensure administrative and operational support needs are met in a timely and effective way.

What You Will Do

  • Identify opportunities for process improvement by simplifying workflows, improving consistency, and using available tools to address pain points and increase efficiency. This may include creating simple forms, automated reminders or workflows, and leveraging AI-enabled tools for tasks such as drafting communications, summarizing notes, and organizing information in alignment with company guidelines.
  • Provide reliable day-to-day administrative support for the organization and external customers through strong coordination of meetings, schedules, communications, and team events.
  • Support carrier enablement activities, including carrier/partner portal support, issue triage, and escalation to the appropriate support contacts as needed.
  • Maintain organized team resources, including digital files, shared folders/sites, and templates, to ensure information is easy to find and consistently managed.
  • Coordinate onboarding support for new employees, including workspace setup, equipment coordination, office procedure guidance, and other administrative support needs.
  • Support oversight of the company car fleet by helping ensure vehicles are properly maintained, licensed, and available for business use as needed.
  • Provide administrative support during emergency situations by helping coordinate communication, resources, and follow-up to support a timely and effective response.

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

  • 5+ years of experience providing administrative support in a fast-paced environment, including support for multiple stakeholders, calendar coordination, meeting preparation, communication support, and follow-up on action items.
  • Experience using Microsoft 365 tools, including Outlook, Excel, SharePoint, and PowerPoint, with the ability to learn new systems quickly
  • Willing and able to travel up to 15%

What Will Put You Ahead

  • Experience with light automation (e.g., Microsoft Forms, Power Automate/Flow) and/or using AI tools to improve administrative efficiency and quality (policy-aligned)
  • Experience with Learning Management Systems and/or content creation.
