The Assistant Director, Accessibility Services plays a key role in advancing this commitment by supporting students with disabilities and ensuring equitable access to Babson's academic programs. Reporting to the Director of Accessibility Services, the Assistant Director provides direct student support while overseeing critical accommodation programs, including exam proctoring and note taking services. This role collaborates closely with students, faculty, and campus partners to implement accommodations effectively and promote inclusive academic practices. WHAT YOU WILL DO
YOUR TEAM WILL INCLUDE Student Employees WHAT EDUCATION AND SKILLS YOU WILL NEED Bachelor's Degree in Special Education, Counseling, Rehabilitation Counseling, Disability Students, or a closely related field. A minimum of 4-6 years of related experience Knowledge of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act, and accessibility practices in higher education. Strong communication, organizational, and problemsolving skills. Ability to work collaboratively across campus and with all populations. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and ability to learn systems such as AIM, Advisor Link, and Workday. Ability to take initiative and complete tasks with minimal supervision. Ability to work both independently and with teams. Ability to anticipate and embrace change; demonstrate willingness to achieve, acquire, and utilize new skills and challenging tasks; and is flexible in changing conditions. Ability to envision and propose new methods to perform tasks; take thoughtful risks; and accept new and ongoing initiatives, objectives, and solutions to gain sought-after results. HOW AND WHERE YOU WILL WORK Some early mornings and/or evenings and occasional weekend work Requires work onsite 5 days a week; the on-campus requirement is subject to modification based on organizational need. This is an exempt position with the following pay range: $60,554 - $67,282; the role is also eligible for bonuses based on performance and budget. Babson College offers a comprehensive benefits package for full-time employees working at least 28 hours per week.
