We are seeking a highly motivated Biomedical or Mechanical Engineer to support the development of novel interventional medical devices. These devices integrate needle/catheter engineering, optical imaging, and implantable microdevices to improve precision in cancer diagnostics and treatment.
Key Responsibilities * Design and prototype medical needles, catheters, and microdevices using CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, Fusion 360) * Fabricate parts using CNC machining, 3D printing, and related tools * Assemble and test devices for preclinical (ex vivo/in vivo) and early-stage clinical use * Collaborate with physicians, scientists, and engineers across oncology, optical imaging, and device development * Support in vivo studies in coordination with the interventional radiology and tumor biology teams * Assist with regulatory documentation and submissions for IRB and FDA pathways (e.g., IDE) Education Preferred Qualifications
