The Senior Configuration & Master Data Coordinator is responsible for governing material master data, bills of material, routings/recipes, and controlled change implementation across the product lifecycle. This role serves as a key cross-functional partner to Planning, Project Management, Technical Services, Warehouse, Quality, Engineering, Manufacturing, and Finance to ensure new products, engineering changes, and ongoing product maintenance are executed accurately, on time, and in compliance with established business and quality requirements. The position combines configuration management, document control discipline and process improvement to support scalable, audit-ready operations in a complex manufacturing environment.

  • Own the creation, maintenance, and governance of material master data, part numbers, bills of material (BOMs), super BOMs, routings, and recipes within the ERP environment.
  • Coordinate and implement engineering changes, change controls, and product record updates to ensure accurate, timely, and compliant data across systems and functions.
  • Support new product introduction (NPI), product lifecycle changes, and ongoing commercial operations by translating business and technical requirements into accurate system setup and master data structures.
  • Partner with Engineering, Manufacturing, Planning, Quality, Supply Chain, and Finance to align product configuration, released documentation, and production readiness requirements.
  • Maintain document control standards for released product data, revision history, controlled documentation, and change-related records to support traceability, audit readiness, and operational accuracy.
  • Review data quality, identify inconsistencies or gaps across systems, and drive corrective actions to improve data integrity, governance, and process reliability.
  • Facilitate cross-functional coordination for BOM updates, material changes, implementation timing, and downstream impacts to planning, procurement, inventory, and manufacturing execution.
  • Drive continuous improvement in configuration management, document control, and master data processes to increase efficiency, reduce errors, and enable scalable operations.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and directly relevant experience required.
  • 5+ years of experience in configuration management, document control, engineering change management, ERP master data, or a related manufacturing support role required.
  • Strong working knowledge of ERP systems (SAP preferred) and master data concepts, including material setup, BOMs, routings, recipes, and revision-controlled product records required.
  • Experience supporting cross-functional change implementation involving Engineering, Manufacturing, Planning, Quality, and Supply Chain stakeholders required.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage detailed technical and operational data with a high degree of accuracy, organization, and accountability required.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills; able to translate technical requirements into clear actions and coordinate execution across multiple teams required.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, deadlines, and deliverables in a fast-paced, detail-sensitive environment required.
  • Experience in regulated manufacturing environments such as pharmaceutical, biotech, medical device, electronics, or other quality-controlled industries desired.
  • Exposure to document control systems, configuration governance, or product lifecycle management processes desired.
  • Formal training or certification (e.g., APICS/ASCM CPIM/CSCP, CPSM) desired.

Location: Spokane, WA - On Site, Full- -Time

Shift: Weekday Days, Monday-Friday
