Overview About Lakeview Center Lakeview Center provides comprehensive behavioral health care to adults and children with mental illnesses, drug and alcohol dependencies and intellectual disabilities. Across Northwest Florida, our services range from residential treatment to outpatient counseling, psychiatry, trauma care, treatments for substance misuse and 24/7 support for those with serious mental illnesses. Overview Level I internships are observation-based learning experiences designed to provide introductory exposure to behavioral health services, interdisciplinary collaboration, and professional workplace practices within a healthcare environment. This level is intended for students seeking introductory experience through observation, shadowing, and supervised participation in approved activities. Interns will gain insight into behavioral healthcare operations while developing professional communication, ethical awareness, and workplace readiness skills.
