Job Overview

The FINRA Series 7 Study Class is designed for individuals preparing to take the SIE, Series 63, and Series 7 exam, which qualifies them to become registered representatives in the securities industry. This class will be a 12-week period and provides comprehensive training on various financial concepts, regulations, and practices essential for success in financial sales and wealth management. Participants will engage in a structured learning environment that emphasizes both theoretical knowledge and practical application.

Pay rate: $19/HR

Location: Downtown Minneapolis, MN 55415

Duties



  • Attend scheduled classes and participate actively in discussions and exercises.
  • Study and understand key topics including securities law, cash management, estate planning, and tax implications.
  • Complete assigned readings and practice exams to reinforce learning objectives.
  • Collaborate with peers to discuss complex financial concepts such as wills, trusts, and estate law.
  • Utilize financial software tools to simulate real-world scenarios in wealth management.
  • Prepare for the SIE, Series 63, and Series 7 exam by mastering the content areas outlined by FINRA.


Passing the tests



  • Passing the tests to receive the Series 7 and Series 63 licensing will be necessary to continue the training and have the ability to be hired on permanently.
  • After passing the test, successful candidates will be considered for internal position.


Qualifications



  • Motivation to attain FINRA licensing.
  • Strong understanding of banking principles and cash management techniques.
  • Knowledge of estate planning strategies and their application in financial services.
  • (Preferred) Bachelor's degree in Finance, Banking, or other related fields.
  • (Preferred) Internship with a Wealth Investment Firm, Bank, or other related Financial Services Firm.
