Senior Client Partner, Strategic Services (Senior Account Principal) Location: Fully Remote Travel: 25-30% paid travel; trips are typically no longer than 3 days per trip Salary: $170K-$190K base (DOE) + 20% bonus strucuture About the Role The Client Partner, Strategic Services is the end-to-end owner of services success across a portfolio of strategic client accounts. This senior leadership role combines account management, pre-sales, delivery oversight, and growth strategy to drive revenue, profitability, client satisfaction, and long-term account expansion. Serving as the primary point of accountability, this individual partners across sales, solutioning, delivery, PMO, and finance teams to ensure seamless execution, strong business outcomes, and an exceptional client experience. Key Responsibilities Account Ownership & Strategy
- Own services P&L, revenue growth, margin performance, and account health
- Develop and execute account plans focused on growth, retention, recurring revenue, and risk management
- Build and maintain executive-level client relationships
Pre-Sales & Deal Governance
- Partner with sales and solution teams to shape opportunities and align solutions to client outcomes
- Provide guidance on scope, pricing, margins, delivery feasibility, and risk
- Ensure smooth transitions from sales to delivery
Delivery Leadership
- Oversee services engagement success across assigned accounts
- Partner with delivery teams, PMO, and stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet client expectations
- Manage escalations and drive issue resolution
Growth & Retention
- Drive cross-sell, upsell, renewals, and recurring services growth
- Increase net revenue retention (NRR) and recurring revenue mix
- Identify opportunities to enhance service delivery through AI, automation, and managed services innovation
Cross-Functional Leadership
- Align sales, overlays, pre-sales, delivery, PMO, and finance teams
- Influence without direct authority in a matrixed environment
- Ensure a consistent and unified client experience
Financial Management
- Own services forecasting, pipeline accuracy, revenue targets, margins, and retention KPIs
- Drive disciplined financial performance across the portfolio
Leadership & Innovation
- Mentor junior team members and contribute to organizational best practices
- Support GTM strategy, new service offerings, and portfolio innovation initiatives
- Share lessons learned, reusable assets, and client insights across the organization
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in technology services, consulting, systems integration, or professional services
- Experience in client partner, strategic account management, portfolio leadership, or service delivery leadership roles
- Proven success managing and growing multi-million-dollar client portfolios
- Strong commercial acumen including deal structuring, pricing, margins, and financial management
- Experience leading complex services engagements across sales and delivery functions
- Ability to influence executives and stakeholders in matrixed organizations
- Strong communication, presentation, problem-solving, and escalation management skills
- Ability to travel up to 30%
Preferred Qualifications
- P&L ownership experience
- Experience leading enterprise-wide transformation initiatives
- Familiarity with cloud, infrastructure, software, and partner ecosystems
- Experience working within large consulting, systems integration, or technology services organizations
