As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Specialist in Sunnyvale, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support access activity with strong customer service and communication. Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities within a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout production areas, warehouses, loading zones, parking areas, and perimeter access points, with attention to unusual activity and/or potential hazards.
• Monitor entry and exit activity for employees, visitors, vendors, and deliveries, helping to support site access protocols and reporting irregularities according to post procedures.
• Support order at the location by communicating professionally with staff and visitors, following post instructions, and/or assisting with incident response and de-escalation when appropriate.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• A state, county, or city issued security-related license is preferred.
• Access control or badge experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
