As an Armed Screener in a healthcare location, you will help monitor access points, screen visitors and staff, and support a welcoming environment through strong communication and customer service. This role includes maintaining a visible presence and responding to security-related concerns with professionalism. Pay Rate: $21.55 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, screening protocols, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a healthcare location.
• Screen visitors, patients, staff, and/or vendors at designated entry points using approved access control procedures and screening equipment when applicable.
• Monitor entrances and waiting areas, verify identification and/or visitor authorization, and help to deter unauthorized access or prohibited items from entering the location.
• Respond to incidents, concerns, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report observations according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter, remaining aware of changing conditions and activity levels throughout the shift.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess an Armed Guard Card/License.
• CPR Certification is preferred.
• Baton Certification is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
