As a Security Officer Day Patrol in San Jose, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a fast-paced tech-focused location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help deter security-related incidents. You will support daily operations through strong communication, customer service, and teamwork while reflecting a caring, agile, reliable, and innovative culture built on integrity.

Pay Rate: $26.73 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and/or vendors by following site-specific procedures, access protocols, and emergency response activities appropriate to a technology-focused location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or unusual activity in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify potential security-related concerns and/or policy violations.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials where required, and report suspicious activity to help support security-related operations at the location.
• Assist with incident reporting, daily activity logs, and other assigned duties that help support the professional operation of an unarmed patrol post.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
