The Integrated Missile Defense Technology Group supports the Missile Defense Agency in the development, deployment, testing, and enhancement of the Missile Defense that defends the United States, deployed forces, and allies from missile attacks. We are focused on advancing the Missile Defense elements to keep pace with rapidly evolving threats. Our staff are involved in the development and integration of these elements from the analysis and characterization of the worldwide missile threat to fielding of new capabilities. To achieve this, we perform system and component engineering, algorithm development, advanced technology prototyping, and validation of performance by means of testing and analysis.


Job Description

The Integrated Missile Defense Group is looking for an analyst for algorithm/architecture design, system analysis and performance trade-off, sensor data analysis and testing for several Missile Defense systems and/or an advanced decision architecture project for Missile Defense Agency. Primary responsibilities will include the development and implementation of application programs for decision support, data reduction and analysis of recorded and simulated sensor data, and defense system performance optimization.



The successful candidate will work on the development and evaluation of new techniques for missile defense systems. Work will involve support in the development of data analysis in areas that include signal processing and detection, machine learning and artificial intelligence, multiple target tracking, advanced decision architecture, weapon/sensor management, and system performance optimization for currently deployed and future missile defense systems.


The Ballistic Missile Defense System Integration Group is looking for an analyst for algorithm/architecture design, system analysis and performance trade-off, sensor data analysis and testing for several Ballistic Missile Defense systems and/or an advanced decision architecture project for Missile Defense Agency. Primary responsibilities will include the development and implementation of application programs for decision support, data reduction and analysis of recorded and simulated sensor data, and defense system performance optimization.



The successful candidate will work on the development and evaluation of new techniques for ballistic missile defense (BMD) systems. Work will involve support in the development of data analysis in areas that include signal processing and detection, machine learning and artificial intelligence, multiple target tracking, advanced decision architecture, weapon/sensor management, and system performance optimization for currently deployed and future BMD systems.



Requirements:



MS in Electrical Engineering, Control Systems, Physics, Applied Mathematics, System Science and Engineering, or equivalent with 3+ years of experience. The candidate must be able to work on a broad range of problems. A candidate with background in signal processing, data analysis, familiar with MATLAB and other scientific programming is desired. Ability to communicate well in both written and oral fashion is required.


Recent Graduate Hiring Range: $116,400 - $140,000
Experienced Hiring Range: $116,400 - $182,200
