Torch Technologies is seeking a TARCES Software Developer to join our team supporting the Tactical and Remote Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Cyber, and Intelligence (C5I) Edge Systems (TARCES) that are part of commercial and militarized vehicles, small and large crafts, transit cases, mobile communications, fixed base stations, command centers, and intelligence systems. The TARCES contract is managed by Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division (NAWCAD) Webster Outlying Field (WOLF).

As a TARCES Software Developer your duties will include the following, but are not limited to:

  • Research, design, develop, and maintain computer and network software applications
  • Analyze user requirements and develop software solutions to support operational and business needs
  • Enhance and update existing software capabilities to improve performance and functionality
  • Support integration of hardware and software systems and assist with technical specifications and requirements
  • Maintain and support databases and coordinate development activities with cross-functional teams
  • Troubleshoot software issues and provide technical support as needed

Required Qualifications:

  • U.S. Citizenship
  • Hiring at multiple levels:
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, IT, or a related field with 3+ years of related experience
  • Or Associate degree in computer science, IT, or a related field with 7+ years of related experience
  • Or High School diploma with 9+ years of related experience
  • Active Secret/clearance is required

Schedule: M-F; 8-5

Work Location: Onsite, PAX River, Maryland

Travel: 0-10%

Position Contingent Upon Award of Contract: No

Salary Range: $88,000-$243,000 (Hiring at multiple levels)

The salary range information is a general guideline only. Several factors can influence the salary for a position including but not limited to, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, geographic location, business considerations, scope and responsibilities of the position, local or other applicable market conditions, and internal equity. Other factors include the candidate's qualifications such as relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education/training, and certifications.
