Introduction to the Job

As an Upgrade Install and Relocation Engineer, you play a critical role enabling the world's most advanced semiconductor technology. At ASML, your work directly supports customers who create faster, smaller, and more energyefficient microchips that power everyday life.

You will join the Customer Support organization, where you help install, upgrade, and relocate complex lithography systems at customer sites across the United States. In this Upgrade Install and Relocation Engineer role, you support ASML's mission to push technology forward by ensuring systems perform safely, reliably, and to specification.

ASML operates globally, with U.S. locations including Wilton, Connecticut; Chandler, Arizona; and Hillsboro, Oregon. You will work closely with customers and colleagues in an inclusive environment built on collaboration, integrity, and continuous learning.

Role and Responsibilities

As an Upgrade Install and Relocation Engineer, you ensure customer systems are installed and upgraded correctly, safely, and efficiently. You work handson with sophisticated equipment while collaborating closely with customers and ASML teams.

You will:

• Install, upgrade, and relocate semiconductor equipment at customer sites.

• Inspect, assemble, align, and test system components to meet design specifications.

• Diagnose technical issues, perform repairs, and verify system functionality.

• Collaborate with colleagues and customers to identify root causes and resolve issues.

• Escalate complex problems clearly and promptly to supporting teams when needed.

• Train customers on system operation and routine maintenance practices.

• Complete technical documentation and service reports with accuracy and clarity.

Education and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in an engineering field or equivalent practical experience.

• Zero to two years of relevant work experience in a technical or fieldbased role.

• Exposure to the semiconductor industry, vacuum systems, or plasma technology is preferred.

• Experience using standard computer applications for documentation and basic data analysis.

Other Information

• Position will require travel up to 75%.

• Position will require access to customer site locations.

• Ability to work flexible shifts including nights, weekends and holidays.

• Authorization to work in the United States.

• This position is a safety-sensitive position requiring the ability to operate heavy/complex machinery and work in a safe and alert manner.

• Willingness to continue learning and growing in a professional environment is necessary.

• Work is conducted at a customer site and requires familiarization with customer rules and policies regarding worksite behavior and safety.

• Expect to spend more than 50% of the time inside the clean room working with electromechanical equipment.

• Position works under the direction of a Manager, Supervisor, or Sr. Engineer.
