Summary:

The Senior Consultant, Global Capabilities Services supports the execution of enterprise transformation initiatives through structured delivery support, analytics, and coordination. This role contributes to planning, tracking, and execution activities across assigned programs and transitions, building foundational expertise in global capability transformation.

Senior Consultants operate with guidance from Strategic Advisors and Managers and are expected to progressively increase autonomy and scope.

Essential Functions:

Program & Workstream Support

  • Support execution of assigned transformation initiatives by maintaining plans, trackers, deliverables, and documentation.
  • Execute defined tasks across people, process, technology, and readiness workstreams.
  • Track risks, dependencies, issues, and action items.

Transition & Readiness Support

  • Support GCC transition activities including documentation, knowledge transfer scheduling, readiness tracking, and stabilization reporting.
  • Assist in tracking Day 1 / Day 30 / Day 90 readiness milestones.

Reporting & Analytics

  • Prepare and maintain program dashboards, status reports, and performance metrics.
  • Support valuerealization tracking through data collection and basic analysis.

Stakeholder & Change Support

  • Coordinate with crossfunctional teams to support execution activities.
  • Assist with development of communications, training materials, and change enablement content.
  • Prepare materials for program governance and leadership updates.

Learning & Development

  • Apply GCS tools, templates, and methodologies consistently.
  • Incorporate feedback and lessons learned to continuously improve execution effectiveness.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Education:

  • Bachelor's degree/equivalent required.

Minimum Experience:

  • Five (5) years of experience in project support, transformation delivery, operations, consulting, or related fields.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fastpaced, matrixed environment.
  • Must be willing to work with teams in multiple time zones.
  • Up to 25% travel, based on business needs.

Domicile Information:

The preferred locations for this hybrid position are Plano, TX OR Memphis, TN. However, we will consider candidates based elsewhere within the United States (excluding Alaska, Hawaii, and U.S. territories). Candidates residing within 50 miles of a FedEx campus will be required to work on-site at a FedEx location several times per week.

If this opportunity includes multiple job levels, the range is a reasonable estimate of the current starting salary for the lowest level to the current starting salary of the highest level. Actual starting pay would be determined by experience relative to the job, market level, pay at the location for this job and other job-related factors permitted by law. An employee may be eligible for additional pay, premiums, or bonus potential. The Company offers eligible employees health, vision and dental insurance, retirement, and tuition reimbursement.
