Primary Purpose
This position will work closely with and serve as a liaison between the Permitting Manager, E&C team, and EPC contractor to gather and review all technical documents required for permitting and agency authorizations. It will interface with federal and state agencies (e.g., FERC, USCG, PHMSA) and mentor junior engineers in these activities. Duties and Responsibilities * Resolves design and construction issues during project implementation, ensuring smooth execution and timely problem-solving. * Integrate sustainable design principles to reduce environmental impact and enhance energy and resource efficiency. * Conducts structural analyses and feasibility studies to optimize designs for cost-effectiveness, constructability, and sustainability. * Collaborate with regulatory agencies to secure necessary permits and ensure compliance with all applicable codes and regulations. * Provides technical guidance and oversight throughout design and construction phases, including site inspections and structural assessments. * Implements quality assurance protocols to ensure adherence to design specifications, industry standards, and safety regulations. * Maintains detailed project documentation and develops innovative solutions to improve outcomes while staying current with industry advancements. * Performs other duties as assigned. | |
