DESCRIPTION OF WORK

This position supports statewide quality assurance, training and issue resolution activities related to purchasing, procurement, and inventory management. As a Management Analyst 2, you will perform the following duties:
- Quality Assurance Review: Conduct statewide assessments to improve procurement, purchasing card, and inventory management practices
- Training Support: Develop and assist in delivering training programs that strengthen statewide purchasing and inventory processes
- Inquiry Resolution: Respond to and resolve statewide questions related to procurement, purchasing, and inventory management using subject matter knowledge
- Data Analysis: Analyze statewide data to identify strengths, weaknesses, and opportunities for improvement in program areas
- Procedure Development: Collaborate with supervisors and experts to update and maintain guidance documents and procedures for agencywide use
- Customer Service: Provide timely and professional support to agency staff while helping to ensure consistency and compliance in statewide practices

- Full-time employment
- Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 60-minute lunch.
- This position may be eligible for alternate work schedule (AWS).
- This position will be headquartered at the Keystone Building in Harrisburg or at a district office near your home that has available workspace.
- Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the assigned headquarters location. The ability to telework is subject to change at any time. Additional details may be provided during the interview.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY

QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
- One year of experience as a Management Analyst 1 (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title, as determined by the Office of Administration); or
- Two years of experience in technical management analysis work, and a bachelor's degree; or
- Any equivalent combination of experience and training..
Other Requirements:
- This particular position also requires possession of a valid driver's license.
