At Atlas Air Worldwide, we're not just an airline, we're a global engine powering cargo, passenger, and leasing operations across more than 70 countries. As a leader in outsourced aviation logistics, we're built on a foundation of safety, service excellence, integrity, innovation, teamwork, and responsibility. With over 30 years of history, a modern all-Boeing fleet, and nearly 5,000 teammates collaborating across operations, technical, and corporate functions, we're driven by purpose.

If you're ready to grow, innovate, and help us deliver excellence every single day, you belong here.

The Chapter Lead BOA will lead the change at a team level to implement the Business Outcomes Analyst concept.
The BOAs in the chapter will be focused on supporting delivery in their squad or project by clarifying requirements, removing obstacles and facilitating workflow and helps ensure the promised outcomes are delivered. They are a blend of business analyst, scrum master, project manager, and document writer. They are not just a single dimensioned project manager focused only on go-live and not value delivery afterwards. They are pragmatic leaders that understand the business strategy and our strategic intent and help ensure the squad can deliver the maximum business value possible. They are great communicators and work as bridges between the product owner, project managers, stakeholders and the squad. They facilitate the squad planning and retrospectives to ensure the squad is delivering reliably and is constantly improving. The squad does not report to them, and they must be the champions of building a self-managing team and not creating a single point of failure in themselves. The Chapter Lead will deliver this transformation within the team and support it through the rest of the department. This means delivering effective change within the BOA chapter and the wider tech team. They will not manage any delivery directly themselves but will lead through others.

Atlas is evolving toward an adaptive, human-centric system of work based on agile principles and culture. The BOA Chapter Lead will need to work closely with the portfolio team to define, implement, champion and nurture a modern and adaptive system of work for Run COTS Build project delivery and Custom Build software delivery. In this respect they will own and implement an agile coaching model to support the adoption of modern delivery best practices.

All BOAs will report to the Chapter Lead and they will ensure their team has the rights skills, people and culture to deliver to the OneAtlas strategy. They are accountable for their team's capability and capacity and ensuring BOA resourcing and leadership is appropriate and the correct best practices are place. As well as growing the functional capabilities of the team, they will also focus on performance management, team and individual growth and developing a high performing, high accountability team.
