APPLY TODAY What You'll Do: Design, develop, test, and support modem software, hardware, and engineering tools Perform software requirements analysis and contribute to architecture and system design activities Code, integrate, test, and document software solutions for complex engineering systems Research and evaluate technical data, specifications, and customer requirements to support development efforts Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams, leadership, and external stakeholders on major programs and projects Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and guidance to engineering teams when needed Job Requirements What You'll Bring: Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Engineering, Technology, Mathematics, or related technical field 8+ years of software engineering, modem engineering, or related technical experience OR Master's degree plus 6+ years of related experience 5+ years of experience with software development using C++ and/or C 3+ years of experience working in Linux-based development environments 3+ years of experience supporting communication protocols, network systems, or software-defined modem technologies 2+ years of experience supporting DevSecOps, cloud, or AWS-based environments 3+ years of experience performing software integration, testing, and troubleshooting activities What Sets You Apart: Agile development experience Experience leading or contributing to large-scale technical programs and cross-functional engineering efforts Strong understanding of software engineering principles, methodologies, and technical standards Ability to independently solve complex technical challenges and define solution approaches Exceptional communication and collaboration skills across technical and non-technical teams Experience mentoring engineers and leading software development lifecycle activities Interest in applying AI technologies for innovation and process improvement Additional Information: Upon offer of employment, the individual will be subject to a background check and drug screen In compliance with federal law, all persons hired will be required to verify identity and eligibility to work in the United States and to complete the required employment eligibility verification form upon hire.
