Job Title: Service Engineer
Location: Newark, DE
Employment Type: Contract (7 months with possible extension)
Industry: Manufacturing industry.
Compensation: $ 31.58/hour
Schedule: 40.00 hrs/Week
Monday through Friday, 9 am to 5:30
Candidate must be local to Glaskow (Newark, DE) site for training.
Training is for approximately 3 weeks onsite and is full-time Monday through Friday business hours.
After training, position is 100% remote with part-time hours.
Willing to travel up to 20%
About the Opportunity:

What You'll Do:
  • Monitor customer cases and maintain accurate documentation in support tools/software
  • Take ownership of customer tickets and ensure timely issue resolution
  • Escalate complex technical issues to higher-level support when necessary
  • Deliver excellent customer service and maintain high customer satisfaction
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop solutions and action plans
  • Meet service-level agreements (SLAs) and performance targets
  • Maintain compliance with company procedures, policies, and reporting standards
  • Assist customers with operational and technical guidance remotely
  • Continuously learn new technologies, products, and troubleshooting methods
  • Support a positive team environment and adapt to process improvements and changes
Job Requirements
What You'll Bring:
  • Associates Degree
  • 3+ years of experience in troubleshooting medical or laboratory equipment
What Sets You Apart:
  • Bachelors Degree in Biomedical or Engineering.
  • You are proficient in Microsoft Office Suite including Outlook, Excel, Word and other applications.
  • You have a positive "can-do" attitude in all communications and the ability to thrive as a member of a collaborative, cross-functional team.
  • Leverages team abilities to best serve the customer and collaborates with team members and counterparts in other parts of the organization to develop and implement action plans to resolve customer issues.
  • You are willing to create an open, supportive environment consistent with the culture of Service Based Leadership
