As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Guard in Allentown, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a residential location, where you will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and support residents, staff, and visitors with outstanding customer service and communication. Pay Rate: $19.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to residents, staff, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, resident concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting unusual activity to site contacts and/or Allied Universal management.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout residential buildings, common areas, entrances, parking areas, and the surrounding perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, assist with directions and general assistance, and help to support an orderly environment within the location.
• Observe and report maintenance issues, hazards, and/or suspicious behavior encountered during patrols, and follow post orders for escalation when needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess 1+ years of law enforcement experience or 2+ years of security supervisor/manager experience or 3+ years of security-related experience.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred.
• Possess access control/badge experience preferred.
• Possess customer service experience preferred.
• Possess alarm panel experience preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
