In the role of Construction Administrator, we'll count on you to:

Manage the documents, workflows, and communication that support project delivery during construction Manage, log and route submittals and RFIs to A/E team and ensure they are reviewed and approved on time Process change orders, evaluate cost and schedule impacts and secure approvals Maintain project correspondence, transmittals, and an auditable document trail during construction Administer contracts, including issuing and maintaining contract documents, amendments Review and process pay applications and invoices, verifying compliance with contract terms and coordinating with contractors Coordinate communication between owners, architects, engineers, contractors, and subcontractors to keep the project aligned and on schedule Apply knowledge of regulatory compliance, including permits, building codes, and quality standards Perform other duties as needed
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's degree of Construction Management or Architectural/Building Engineering Ability to interpret construction contracts/documents Ability to interpret construction schedules, pay apps, progress Understand building construction means and methods Proficient with Newforma software
Required Qualifications
- 7 years contract-related experience; advanced degree or contract certification program may substitute for years of experience
- Working to expert knowledge of contracting concepts and company and client requirements
- Professional, self-motivated, well-organized and detail-oriented with the flexibility and ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines, with minimal management oversight
- Proficient with Microsoft Office software, including complex MS Excel spreadsheets with formulas
- Excellent writing and people skills
- Strong math, analytical and organizational skills
- An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must
