*Hybrid Position*


The Credit Intern will support the Credit Team by assisting with credit review tasks, documentation, quality control, and data entry. This role is designed for students who are pursuing a business or related degree and our interested in learning the fundamentals of credit risk, loan documentation, and banking systems in a structured, supportive environment.



JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:



  • Assist with quality control reviews of loan and credit documents to ensure accuracy and completeness
  • Help verify that required documents are present, properly labeled, and filed correctly
  • Conduct basic data checks and updates in credit systems such as Vikar and MISER
  • Support monitoring of loan information, risk data, and reporting fields for accuracy
  • Assist the team with identifying missing, incorrect, or inconsistent information
  • Help prepare simple reports, trackers, and spreadsheets as needed
  • Participate in special projects and administrative tasks related to credit risk and loan review
  • Perform other entry-level duties as assigned by the Risk Management team



PHYSICAL AND SENSORY REQUIREMENTS:



  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Regularly required to drive a motor vehicle, occasional air travel, attending meetings at various venues, including but not limited to customers' offices and/or properties, restaurants and other meeting locations, and ascend/descend stairs and or ladders occasionally to perform inspections.
  • The employee may be required to lift files/materials up to 20 pounds to take to various locations.
  • The incumbent will be expected to operate a computer terminal.

EDUCATION, TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE:



  • Currently pursuing a college degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Comfortable working with systems, spreadsheets, and document files
  • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
  • Ability to follow instructions, meet deadlines, and work as part of a team
  • Interest in learning about banking, credit, and risk management
  • Proficient Microsoft Suite skills
