Job Summary:
The Workday Enterprise Solutions Team (WEST) is responsible for the administration and optimization of Workday and related systems for Finance, Human Resources, and Research Administration across the Universities of Wisconsin System, while focusing on people, processes, and technology. This team will concentrate on continuous improvement and system maintenance, release enhancements, support, and strategic integration of the Workday ERP and related systems to achieve business objectives. Senior Business Analysts will support one or more teams within the WEST team. This position will concentrate on both the Compensation and Payroll modules on the HR team. Activities may include leading the review, redesign and optimization of complex business processes, creation of complex custom calculations, security policies, reports, and other system functionality, including ancillary and bolt-on IT systems. Senior Business Analysts will be responsible for system maintenance, design, configuration, testing and the successful implementation of Workday releases. They will also evaluate additional features and systems to enhance user experience, compliance, research and analyze data patterns to troubleshoot or highlight areas of improvement, write reports and develop requirements for integrations or other technical solutions. The Senior Business Systems Analyst serves a vital role within WEST. This position is a full-time, fully remote position. Key Job Responsibilities:
