Business Associate

Job Duties: Formulate and apply mathematical modeling to analyze and interpret data from various sources to support company’s marketing campaigns and business development and assist management with operation related decision-making to improve company’s business performance. Specifically,

- Define data requirements and gather information from various sources including web pages, SQL server database, industry statistics, public information, conference pamphlets, and industry reports associated with biopharmaceutical research services. Validate data to ensure accuracy and adequacy.

- Collaborate with the management to identify and define problems on operational processes, business development, and marketing campaigns for further analysis.

- Formulate mathematical and simulation models to analyze collected data and information relevant to the problem being addressed.

o Perform a variety of cost and benefit analyses to estimate the effectiveness of company’s marketing campaigns and business development projects. Study information about alternative activities to determine which plan will offer the best outcomes.

o Build quantitative models and formulate decision models to optimize operational activities and enhance value streams.

o Develop business procedures for marketing, sales, logistics, procurement, operations, and client management to improve operational efficiency.

- Present the results of mathematical modeling and data analysis to management. Generate reports to evaluate problems and recommend solutions for management’s decision-making.

Job Requirements:

- Bachelor’s degree in Business Analytics, Applied Mathematics, or a closely related field.
