Position Description: Supervise field Self-Perform Operations (SPO) construction of a single mega or multiple projects and serve as company-wide subject matter expert resource for construction operations. Apply construction operations expertise to provide technical and organizational planning and scheduling guidance to project operations in order to complete work on time, within budget, and to quality specified. Essential Duties & Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise field Self-Perform Operations (SPO) construction of a single mega or multiple projects and serve as company-wide subject matter expert resource for construction operations.
/li> - Partner with SPO senior project leadership to coordinate assignments of project staff.
/li> - Provide guidance to SPO Superintendents to review staffing projections and Work In Place (WIP).
/li> - Apply construction operations expertise to provide technical and organizational planning and scheduling guidance to SPO Superintendents throughout duration of project.
/li> - Oversee and provide guidance on development of logistics plans and schedules during pre-construction and early project activities.
/li> - Review project schedules with SPO Superintendents to ensure critical activities and decisions remain on task and audit Required-On-Job (ROJ) dates.
/li> - Attend production meetings to review production monitors assess gaps/risks, ensure establishment of recovery plans, and review progress of production goals. Evaluate project site risks and issues that affect budget, quality, or schedule and provide feedback to SPO project management team.
/li> - Understand project Quality Control (QC) program and progress.
/li> - Collaborate with senior EH&S leadership to implement and monitor success of project Safety Program.
/li> - Contribute input to progression/succession plans for employees in consultation with local management and Human Resources (HR) teams.
/li> - Contribute to development of SPO operational plans for pursuits, working in partnership with Business Development, Estimating, and Project Executives.
/li> - Initiate and communicate continuous improvement concepts and practices to team in support of working efficiently, enhancing programs, coordinating and reducing waste. Apply active listening skills to remain open to suggestions and encourage recommendations from team.
/li> - May supervise team of SPO Superintendents and participate in hiring process, onboard and deliver timely performance feedback, contribute to performance appraisals during annual performance cycle, utilize talent management systems, and identify appropriate training to help with development needs.

The salary range for this position is estimated to be 195,000.00 - 262,000.00 USD annualized. Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree from accredited degree program in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or related field of study, and minimum of 20 years of construction experience, or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
- Extensive knowledge of Construction Operations including Self-Perform Operations (SPO)
- Extensive knowledge of Occupational Safety & Health Administration (OSHA) and project Safety programs
- Thorough knowledge and understanding of general and subcontract documents, drawings, specifications, construction means, methods, and materials, understanding of line and grade and survey methods
- Thorough knowledge of construction cost, scheduling, estimating, purchasing, and engineering principles and techniques, and accounting principles
- Extensive knowledge of building codes and compliance
- Extensive project management experience, able to manage high volumes of work and various size project(s) successfully to completion, on time, and within budget
- Established and trusted relationships with owners, developers, and architects
- Ability to produce and interpret contract documents, drawings, specifications, scopes of work and project schedule
- Leadership experience to make decisions, direct and build teams
- Diplomatic approach to problem solving, able to use active listening to completely understand target audience needs, and develop targeted solutions
- Excellent interpersonal skills, able to negotiate, influence, and engage stakeholders, teams, and others
- Applies business maturity to synthesize complex concepts and information
- Leverage critical business thinking to impact business planning, operations.
