About This Role
Academic Advising in APDesign is a partnership between students and academic advisors. Advisors engage students in their educational planning, teach them how to navigate college and university resources, and encourage them to take responsibility for decisions about their academic progress. Additionally, the academic advisor supports the mission of the college and each academic program through providing academic advising and administrative support. About Us The College of Architecture, Planning and Design (APDesign) consists of students, faculty and alumni across all disciplines, united by a shared passion for design. We offer a variety of programs in the architecture, community development, design and planning fields. Our programs teach students to collaborate with their peers, constantly try new approaches to problems and redefine the traditional boundaries of design. Our faculty and students are leaders and award-winners, representing APDesign and K-State across the nation. Worksite Description This position is On-site. All employees must reside in the United States when they begin working to comply with state law. K-State is unable to provide remote or hybrid work opportunities for residents of the state of Idaho.
