Overview Omega Technical Services is seeking a highly motivated Associate Computer Security Engineer - Cloud, Cyber Security to support ongoing operations in Aiken, SC. Contract is for six (6) months with the option to extend for six (6) months with two (2) additional one (1) year option years in accordance with the attached job title. Seeking a motivated and detail-oriented entry-level Cyber Security Professional to join our team with a focus on cloud security authorizations, compliance activities, and working directly with FedRAMP applications. This role is ideal for candidates who are eager to learn, enjoy research, and want to build a career supporting Department of Energy (DOE)/National Nuclear Security Administration (NNSA) cybersecurity programs. The successful candidate will work closely with experienced cybersecurity staff and receive mentorship in Department of Energy (DOE) to include National Nuclear Security Administration (NNSA) and Environmental Management (EM) cybersecurity policies, standards, and governance processes. Responsibilities Duties: Under regular supervision, assists with the investigation, design, and development of software and/or hardware security. Support the security of SRS resources through designing, implementing, and evaluating measures tied to the NIST Core Cyber.

Work Schedule A 40 hour work week is scheduled. Client utilizes various work schedules including 5/8s (8 hour/day; five days per week), 4/10's (10 hours/day; four days per week), and 9/80's (9 hours/day, five days on week AA and four days on week BB. Work week excludes Client holidays. Each workday has 30-minute lunch. Overtime will be expected at times to meet deliverables and will be utilized at the discretion of the Manager.
