About the Opportunity:

We're seeking a detail-oriented Lab Inventory & Operations Technician to support a fast-paced lab environment focused on precision, organization, and operational excellence. In this role, you'll manage material inventory, support lab users, and ensure lab spaces are safe, compliant, and efficiently maintained.

You'll play a key role in resolving inventory discrepancies, supporting wafer handling activities, and partnering with cross-functional teams to improve processes and maintain high standards of accuracy and control.

What You'll Do:
  • Audit, stock, and dispense materials to lab users while maintaining inventory accuracy
  • Inspect and maintain lab areas for safety compliance and Intellectual Property (IP) protection
  • Support wafer handling operations, including receiving, staging, reclaiming, and inventory audits
  • Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies using root cause analysis and preventive actions
  • Maintain clean, organized warehouse and lab environments in compliance with procedures
  • Use Excel and reporting tools to analyze inventory data, including pivot tables and charts
  • Support cross-functional teams with lab improvement and process optimization initiatives
Job Requirements
What You'll Bring:
  • 2+ years of experience in inventory control, warehouse operations, lab support, or similar technical operations environment
  • 2+ years of experience working with inventory systems or ERP platforms (SAP or similar preferred)
  • 2+ years of experience using Microsoft Excel for data tracking, reporting, or inventory analysis (including pivot tables and charts)
  • High school diploma required (Associate's degree preferred)
  • 2+ years of experience working in a structured, process-driven environment requiring accuracy and documentation
What Sets You Apart:
  • Strong organizational skills with a high level of attention to detail
  • Experience working in cleanroom or controlled lab environments
  • Familiarity with SAP, Ariba, Appian, or QuickBase systems
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks including standing, walking, and bending for extended periods
  • Typing speed of 50+ WPM and proficiency with 10-key data entry
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Self-driven mindset with a focus on accuracy, reliability, and continuous improvement
Additional Information:
  • Cleanroom environment requiring PPE and lab suit compliance
  • Upon offer of employment, the individual will be subject to a background check
  • Overtime may be required based on operational needs
