Department Summary The UCLA Department of Psychology is an exceptional department known for its excellence in research, teaching, and service. With a distinguished faculty comprising more than 60 ladder rank members, it is one of the nation's top psychology departments. Its undergraduate program is the largest within the Division of Life Sciences and the UCLA College, with nearly 5,000 undergraduate students enrolled across three majors: Psychology, Psychobiology, and Cognitive Science and two minor programs, Applied Developmental Psychology and Youth Behavioral Health Program. The department also offers a comprehensive Ph.D. program with eight areas of study to approximately 200 enrolled graduate students. Position Summary Within the UCLA Department of Psychology, the Administrative Program Coordinator provides high-level administrative and programmatic support to the Youth Behavioral Health (YBH) Program and the Child FIRST Laboratory, both led by Professor Bruce Chorpita. This position serves as the primary administrative point of coordination across both initiatives, ensuring efficient operations, effective communication, and strong infrastructure for program and research activities. The incumbent independently manages complex scheduling, communications, data tracking, reporting support, and program logistics. This role requires strong organizational skills, discretion, initiative, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic academic and programmatic environment. Salary & Compensation *UCLA provides a full pay range. Actual salary offers consider factors, including budget, prior experience, skills, knowledge, abilities, education, licensure and certifications, and other business considerations.
