We're seeking a future team member for the role of Director, Technical Product Manager (Group Product Lead) to join our AI Hub team. This role is located in New York, NY. This is a senior product leadership opportunity for an experienced technical product leader who can lead product strategy for critical AI-powered capabilities, drive execution across complex initiatives, and help shape the product direction for tools that improve how developers, designers, and builders work across the firm. In this role, you'll make an impact in the following ways:
- Lead product development and strategy for large and/or complex AI-powered capabilities within Eliza, our central AI platform, with ownership of core product areas that support developers, designers, and builders.
- Direct the overall product strategy for assigned domains, including roadmap definition, prioritization, and execution, ensuring alignment with business goals, user needs, and platform objectives.
- Serve as a thought leader and subject matter expert within the product management team and across the organization, influencing product direction for innovative and business-critical capabilities.
- Collaborate closely with engineering, design, and cross-functional stakeholders to drive delivery, resolve tradeoffs, and translate complex technical opportunities into clear product plans and measurable outcomes.
- Lead product launch, go-to-market, adoption, and enablement planning for major releases, ensuring strong operational execution and sustained impact.
- Help develop product management talent and strengthen team practices, while contributing to budgeting, resource planning, and the broader product operating model for the AI Hub.
To be successful in this role, we're seeking the following:
- Bachelor's degree in a technical related field, typically Engineering or CS degree, or equivalent work experience required.
- 3-5 years of experience in a technical/engineering role and SME on the technology.
- Proven experience, preferably 10-12+ years, in product management, including building and scaling technical products from ideation and discovery through launch, adoption, and ongoing enhancement.
- Deep knowledge of technical product management, modern AI systems, and product strategies that support the software development lifecycle, internal platforms, and enterprise user experiences.
- Strong understanding of the AI ecosystem, including model providers, enterprise AI platforms, and how AI products integrate into engineering workflows, developer tooling, and operational processes.
- Experience leading complex product areas in close partnership with engineering and design teams, with the ability to translate technical concepts into clear strategy, roadmaps, priorities, and execution plans.
- Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and communication skills, with experience influencing across a matrixed organization; familiarity with language model training, fine tuning, evaluation, or governance workflows is a plus.
