Manual Software Test Analyst - Hybrid

Genesis10 is currently seeking a Manual Software Test Analyst for a Hybrid position with a Major Utility Company located in Tulsa, OK. This is a 6+ month contract opportunity.

This role is responsible for all aspects of work related to testing and tracking issues for systems applicable to the supported business unit. The ideal candidate will work with business and development teams to define, document, and maintain system specifications, including business processes and functional requirements. This is a hybrid role, with on-site work as needed based on the project, and the initial training period will be in the office.

Responsibilities:

• Perform all aspects of work related to testing and tracking issues for applicable systems
• Support efforts to define, document, and maintain system specifications including business processes and functional requirements
• Invest time with business and development teams to gain an intermediate level of business knowledge
• Design testing procedures to measure the efficiency and integrity of processes
• Document and execute moderate to complex software test cases and assist in the planning of software testing
• Introduce enhancements and procedure changes for supported systems
• Create and maintain simple to moderately-complex data queries and reports to provide data analysis tools to users and stakeholders
• Perform business analysis tasks as a member of a project team

Requirements:

• 1-3 years of experience in a related role
• Experience and/or training related to Enterprise applications
• Experience with desktop application/hardware and interpersonal communications
• Knowledge of Maximo, Pragma CAD, or DevOps
• Strong SQL Query skills
• Demonstrated ability to identify, research, and analyze systems software problems, and perform systems evaluation
• Demonstrated ability to interact, advise, guide, train, and communicate effectively
• Demonstrated ability to read and write fluently in English

Desired skills:

• Demonstrated ability to review manuals, journals, system reports, and correspondence
• Experience researching, preparing, and composing systems operating procedures, documentation, and reports
• Ability to develop and present information to individuals and groups

Pay range: $38 - $48 per hour
