Provide high-impact, specialized care to patients navigating some of the most complex neurologic conditions in an environment built on clinical excellence, teamwork, and continuous growth. On 6 West, every shift is an opportunity to directly influence recovery trajectories while supporting patients and families through critical moments in care. This role places you in a 30-bed adult acute care Neuroscience unit where clinical skill, attention to detail, and collaboration come together to deliver meaningful outcomes. The Role As an RN on 6 West, you will provide comprehensive, hands-on nursing care to a diverse and complex neuroscience patient population. The pace is steady and clinically engaging, requiring strong assessment skills, the ability to prioritize effectively, and a commitment to patient-centered care. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team across neurology, stroke, neurosurgery, and neuro-trauma, contributing to a coordinated approach that supports patients from diagnosis through recovery. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS Education: Graduate of an accredited nursing program required. Bachelor of Science in Nursing required within 5 years of hire. Experience: 1 year of relevant experience. Licensure: Licensed to Practice as a Registered Nurse in the Commonwealth of Virginia. American Heart Association (AHA) Health Care Provider BLS certification required. PHYSICAL DEMANDS Job requires standing for prolonged periods, frequently traveling, bending/stooping. Proficient communicative, auditory and visual skills; Attention to detail and ability to write legibly; Ability to lift/push/pull 20 - 50lbs. May be exposed to chemicals, blood/body fluids and infectious disease. The pay range for this role is $39.90 - $53.00 hourly.
