Location: Raymond, OH

Pay Rate: $41.75-$48.00/hour

We are seeking a skilled Engineer to support advanced automotive engineering and product development projects. This role is ideal for engineers with experience designing chassis components, structural systems, and complex automotive assemblies in a fast-paced development environment.

Responsibilities:

• Design and develop chassis components including subframes, engine mounts, suspension, and steering systems
• Create and maintain robust 3D CAD models and 2D drawings using CATIA V6
• Collaborate with design engineers, test teams, and suppliers to resolve technical issues and support product development
• Evaluate supplier proposals, coordinate engineering changes, and prepare technical reports
• Support multiple engineering projects while meeting development schedules and quality standards
• Apply design for manufacturability principles and support CAE model interpretation including stiffness and natural frequency analysis
• Ensure compliance with GD&T standards and engineering best practices

Qualifications:

• BS or MS degree in Engineering required
• Prior experience designing automotive chassis components preferred
• Proficiency in CATIA V6 solid modeling required; surfacing experience preferred
• Strong understanding of aluminum die castings and stamped/welded structures
• Experience creating and interpreting 2D drawings and technical documentation
• Knowledge of GD&T, CAE analysis, and automotive manufacturing processes
• Strong analytical, technical writing, and problem-solving skills
