Location: Kokomo, IN

We are seeking an experienced Manufacturing Supervisor to lead a team of 30-40 hourly employees in a unionized production environment. This role is responsible for driving daily operational performance, ensuring staffing coverage, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives in a fast-paced manufacturing facility.

This is an excellent opportunity for a strong leader with hands-on supervisory experience in manufacturing who can balance people leadership, production demands, and process improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and lead 30-40 hourly production employees in a union environment
• Manage daily staffing, including call-offs, reassignments, and coverage needs
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean, WCM, Kaizen, SIS, or similar methodologies
• Coach, train, and develop team members to improve safety, quality, and productivity
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and plant support pillars
• Enforce consistent work rules while maintaining positive labor relations
• Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve production issues in real time

Required Qualifications:

• Proven supervisory or people management experience (required)
• Experience working in a manufacturing environment (preferred)
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
• Ability to lead teams in a fast-paced, production-driven setting
• Must be available for all shifts and weekend work

Nice-to-Have Experience:

• Prior leadership in a unionized environment
• Exposure to Lean Manufacturing, WCM, Kaizen, or continuous improvement systems
• Experience leading production crews or shift teams
