Position Highlights

The University is looking for a Program Coordinator. This EHRA Non-Faculty, grant-funded Research Associate (Program Coordinator) position at the University of Arizona supports a OneOp project through a sub-award housed at Auburn University and funded by the Department of War (DoW) and the U.S. Department of Agriculture, National Institute of Food and Agriculture (USDA-NIFA), under the supervision of Dr. Jenny Rea. The role leads delivery and coordination of research-informed virtual professional development programming, primarily within OneOp's Spouse Employment concentration area, and supports providers across the Military Family Readiness System. Responsibilities include managing virtual learning, developing evidence-informed resources, supporting program evaluation and outreach, and collaborating with interdisciplinary partners and DoW stakeholders. This position requires strong organizational, communication, and project management skills and the ability to work independently in a collaborative, remote environment. This position offers the opportunity to contribute to OneOp, a nationally recognized professional development initiative and collaborate with interdisciplinary partners across the Military Family Readiness System through a project supported by DoW and USDA-NIFA.

Duties & Responsibilities

Program
Development and Delivery:

  • Under
    supervision and in collaboration with Dr. Rea, coordinate and assist in the
    delivery of virtual professional development programming (e.g., webinars).
  • Collaborate
    with DoW subject matter experts to identify priority content areas.
  • Identify,
    recruit, and coordinate presenters and contributors.
  • Manage program
    logistics, scheduling, and deliverables.
  • Track and
    document continuing education and program participation.

Outreach and
Communications:

  • Develop and disseminate
    communications and outreach materials.
  • Support digital
    engagement strategies, including social media and online platforms.
  • Coordinate blog
    content and resource dissemination.
  • Partner with
    communications staff to expand program visibility and reach Program Evaluation
    and Data Management.
  • Support
    development and implementation of program evaluation plans in collaboration
    with Dr. Rea and OneOp project leadership.
  • Coordinate data
    collection and survey administration (e.g., Qualtrics).
  • Maintain and
    manage program data and reporting systems.
  • Ensure
    compliance with research protocols and data management standards.

Collaboration
and Stakeholder Engagement:

  • Collaborate
    with Dr. Rea, internal and external partners, and DoW stakeholders to
    support project goals and deliverables.
  • Contribute to
    reports, presentations, and project updates.
  • Support
    dissemination of research and program outcomes.
  • Participate in
    meetings, conferences, and required travel (1-4 times annually).

Knowledge,
Skills & Abilities:

  • Knowledge of
    principles of adult learning, professional development, and virtual education
    delivery.
  • Knowledge of
    research-informed and evidence-based practices in human services, behavioral
    health, or related fields.
  • Skill in
    coordinating and delivering virtual programming (e.g., webinars, online
    learning platforms).
  • Skill in
    virtual communication platforms (e.g., Zoom), Microsoft Office applications,
    and the ability to work in a remote, collaborative environment Skill in project
    management, including organizing multiple tasks, timelines, and multiple
    deliverables.
  • Skill in
    written and verbal communication, including developing professional materials
    and communicating with diverse stakeholders.
  • Ability to
    collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams, subject matter experts,
    and external partners.
  • Ability to
    analyze information and support program evaluation, including data collection
    and basic data management.
  • Ability to work
    independently while managing competing priorities in a remote or hybrid
    environment.
  • Ability to
    adapt to changing project needs and respond to feedback in a dynamic,
    grant-funded setting.
  • Ability to
    engage professionally with military-connected populations and stakeholders
    across the Military Family Readiness System.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent advanced learning attained
    through professional level experience required.
  • Five years of relevant work
    experience, or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
