Job Summary

The Material Handler I is responsible for supporting inventory control, receiving, shipping, and stockroom operations within a manufacturing environment. This role manages material transactions, inventory accuracy, shipping documentation, and ERP system processing while ensuring timely support for internal production and external customer requirements. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, safety-focused, and capable of working efficiently in a fast-paced warehouse or manufacturing setting.

Job Responsibilities



  • Support receiving, stockroom, inventory, and shipping operations
  • Accurately pull and issue materials from stock to support production requirements
  • Receive incoming materials from vendors into ERP systems
  • Process receipt of repair units and inventory transactions within ERP systems
  • Prepare and ship finished goods to customers and in-process materials to outside vendors
  • Verify counts, serial numbers, packaging methods, documentation, shipping methods, and shipment destinations
  • Generate and verify shipping documentation and invoices using ERP and document management systems
  • Support inventory accuracy through cycle counting and material transfer activities
  • Maintain hazardous material shipping certification requirements and labeling procedures
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
  • Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
  • Provide support to internal and external customers as needed


Job Requirements



  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Ability to read, understand, and follow product specifications, drawings, and work orders in English
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in inventory and shipping processes
  • Ability to stand, bend, twist, and lift or move up to 40 pounds throughout the workday
  • Ability to work effectively in a manufacturing or warehouse environment
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship
  • Must meet ITAR requirements as a U.S. person
  • Position is subject to DOT drug and alcohol testing requirements due to Repair Station certification guidelines


Work Experience



  • Minimum of 1 year of logistics, warehouse, shipping/receiving, or related experience preferred
  • ERP system experience preferred
  • Experience with Excel, Oracle, WMS, freight systems, UPS shipping systems, or related software preferred
  • Previous experience within manufacturing or assembly operations preferred
